Tread Depth (inches)	Condition	Description
10/32″ to 12/32″	New	Full tread depth, offering maximum traction and performance. Ideal for safety and longevity.
7/32″ to 9/32″	Slightly Used	Still provides good performance but starting to show signs of wear. Adequate for most driving conditions.
5/32″ to 6/32″	Used	The tire is moderately worn. Suitable for regular driving but may lose effectiveness in wet or snowy conditions.
4/32″	Worn	Marginal performance, especially in wet conditions. May be approaching the time for replacement, particularly for winter driving.
2/32″ to 3/32″	Very Worn (Replace)	Tread depth is considered unsafe. At 2/32″, the tire is legally considered worn out in most regions.
Less than 2/32″	Bald	Extremely dangerous. The tire offers little to no grip and is prone to hydroplaning and poor performance. Immediate replacement required.
